Hallett Cove railway station is on the Noarlunga railway line in the southern Adelaide suburbs, 21.4 km by railway from Adelaide Railway Station. A footbridge over the track links eastern Hallett Cove to the beach side to the west.When opened in 1915 the station was named Hallett's Cove, being renamed Hallett Cove in 1965. It was closed to freight in 1962. In the early years of the line, it had a stone-loading plant, traces of which may still be seen.The Coast to Vines Rail Trail passes the station. The trail follows the former railway line to Mclaren Vale.The station was refurbished before the end of 2010 as part of the Noarlunga Line Track Renewal.
